Currently working on some custom parts for a customer's 1985 BMW K100 project. I'll be making some custom side panels, head and tail light mounting, seat hinge and adding a suite of Motogadget parts. Here's some initial work on the side panel design all out of 10mm 6061T6 solid aluminum rod.
All tacked together for now. Next I'm going to work on frame mounting provisions.

DraXter Concept

I somehow missed the unveiling of this bike last year and ran across it only recently. Minus the drag slick rear, it's what I wish the Diavel was. Suspension and brakes were borrowed from the Panigale (because superb damping is necessary for drag racing? Fine with me.) and the riding position has been shortened up and raked forward compared to the Diavel. The super low clip-ons up front will lay you out in drag stance and there's even foam tank pads for 1/4 mile comfort. This is of course just a concept bike, built to drum up interest and develop styling cues to be injected into future models. It's a beautiful exercise none the less and a big statement as Ducati's 90th anniversary mile-marker.
On our way back from the Handbuilt Show in Austin we took some time to unload the Husqvarna for a few laps around the White Sands National Monument in New Mexico.

The Husqy570 pins just came in! They're 40mm wide with white and Husqvarna CR360 purple enamel inlays. Dual posts on the back so you don't lose them on the road.
